Microneedling creates tiny punctures in the skin using an auto pen device with small sterile needles. The meso cocktails applied during treatment penetrate deeply to bring about real change in the skin, whether its wrinkle reduction, scar reduction, pigmentation issues or hydration.

Microneedling works by creating micro-trauma on the skin's surface resulting in a natural wound healing response. Think of it like an army coming to the rescue to repair the damage, flooding the area with new collagen and remodelling it from the inside out. Rather than creating actual damage to the skin which would be counterproductive, the skin is 'tricked' into thinking it is more damaged than it is, this is what creates a youthful, plump revitalised complexion. You can expect to feel warm and look slightly flushed for a few hours following the treatment. The skin returns to normal by the next day with some clients experiencing a mild pink blotchiness on certain areas which dissipates in 24 hours, this depends on various factors such as the skin's sensitivity and the intensity of the treatment performed. The aftercare products provided ensures a calm and speedy recovery.

Numbing cream is not generally needed for this procedure.

For clients who want rejuvenation 3-4 treatments are needed, spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimum results. Most people see results after the second treatment and true results are seen after 3 months from the last session. For scars and stretch marks you may need more sessions depending on the size, depth and age of the scar/stretch mark, this will be discussed in your consultation.

The needles are micro-fine and do not enter the deep layers of the skin like an injection does, this is a totally different type 'needle' so please don't be worried.
